How it works

    Create your overlay

    Generate the OBS browser-source URL from the configuration, in seconds and without copying any password.

    Add it in OBS

    Paste the address into a “Browser” source. The overlay stays transparent and ready to animate your rolls.

    Link your sources

    Twitch chat is free. Link Foundry (and soon Stream Deck) with a subscription to send your rolls live.

    Roll the dice

    Every recognized roll animates automatically on the overlay, then disappears after the duration you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a subscription to use the OBS overlay?

No. Creating the OBS browser source, copying it once, regenerating it, enabling or disabling the overlay and running the visual demo all stay free. A paid subscription is only for live rolls sent from Foundry or Stream Deck.

How do I add the overlay in OBS?

From the configuration, create the browser-source URL, copy it, then add a “Browser” source in OBS with that address. The URL is shown only once: regenerate it if you need to copy it again.

Does the demo send a real command?

No. The demo builds a fake roll directly in the page and animates it locally. It calls no server, broadcasts nothing to OBS and does not depend on your plan.

What if I share or export my OBS scene?

An exported OBS scene collection contains the overlay URL. Treat it as a secret: if it leaks, regenerate the URL from the configuration. The old address and its connections then stop immediately.
